Terms of use
1 · Nature of the platform — facilitator, not seller
Artista is an online marketplace that facilitates sales between artists and buyers. The artist is the seller of record for every artwork. The platform does not own or sell the works; its role is to facilitate listing, payment, shipping and communication in exchange for a commission that is disclosed to artists.
2 · SAIP registration assistance
The platform is not a SAIP registrar and does not register works on anyone's behalf. Registration — including the power of attorney (التوكيل) — is completed by the artist personally on the official SAIP government website. The platform offers a paid coordination and guidance service only: instructions and direct contact within 48 hours to help the artist complete their own registration. The platform issues no certificates.
3 · Keep it on the platform
To protect both parties (product guarantees, dispute resolution, payment protection), communication, agreement and payment must happen on the platform. Sharing contact numbers, links or social handles in buyer–artist chats is not allowed and may be masked automatically. Any deal made off the platform is not covered by any protection, guarantee or support.
4 · Sales, prices & VAT
Artists set their own prices in SAR. VAT is shown transparently and applied at checkout on (items + shipping). The platform's commission is deducted from the artist's payout.
5 · Shipping & packing
Shipping is Saudi-only at this stage, at flat zone rates. The platform sends art-safe packing materials to the artist at its own cost, and the artist must document safe wrapping with photos before shipping.
6 · Returns
Stock artworks may be returned within the window configured on the platform (default 7 days). Made-to-order commissions are final sale. For faulty or not-as-described items the seller covers return shipping and refunds in full.
7 · Accounts & content
Artist applications, listings and material edits are subject to platform review and approval. Every artwork must be original and owned by the artist.
